Important Things to Remember for 2012-2013

National Benefit Services (NBS) will be the NEW medical reimbursement account company for Rusk ISD beginning on 9/1/2012.
The MGM Flex Card that you currently have will expire on 8/31/2012. NBS will pay claims incurred last plan year but submitted after 9/1/2012. Do not file claims with MGM after 8/31/2012. The new “NBS Flex” Card will be sent to your home address 2 to 3 weeks after the first of September 2012, if you have updated your address in the system. The fee for the flex card is $1.50 per month. Once you receive the NBS Flex Card, do not throw it away. The card is good for 3 years and can be reloaded with your new election every year.
Flex accounts are “USE IT OR LOSE IT.” Plan your contributions carefully! Always save your receipts. You will need them should you be audited or for documentation.
Enrollment is required every year for the Flex Plans, as this benefit does not “rollover”.
